The National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD) has announced a call for proposals for concurrent sessions at the November 2-4, 2018 national conference in Denver, Colorado. The deadline to submit a session proposal is Wednesday, May 9th.

The following are excerpts from the NCDD webpage describing the call for proposals:

We’re interested in finding creative ways to highlight the best of what’s happening in public engagement, group process, community problem-solving, civic tech, and arts-based dialogue — and we know you have lots of ideas!...

Our theme for the 2018 conference is Connecting and Strengthening Civic Innovators, and we invite workshop proposals that in some way build upon or engage the ideas around this theme...

NCDD 2018 is taking place the weekend before the November midterm elections and these are vital times for using the skills and tools of the dialogue and deliberation community to continue to bring people together. We have heard from so many, both in our field and particularly those unfamiliar with D&D work – how do we come together and talk with each other despite the divisiveness that pervades our society?...
