People everywhere face multiple challenges. And in all sorts of communities, they are working together to respond to the problems they face. The latest issue of the Kettering Foundation’s annual journal Connections includes articles that explore what citizens are doing to make a difference by joining with other citizens in collective decision-making and action.

Join us for an upcoming webinar that will feature a conversation about how people are responding to the challenges brought about by COVID-19. Michele Archie, author of the Connections article “COVID-19 Community Response and the Appetite for Civic Engagement,” will talk about what she has seen emerging in a number of communities over the last year. We will invite all participants to join in an interactive conversation about what they are involved with or are seeing in their communities.

Speakers in this interactive webinar will include:
Michele Archie, principal of The Harbinger Consultancy
Melinda Gilmore, Kettering Foundation director of strategic initiatives and executive editor, Connections
Brad Rourke, Kettering Foundation program officer and editor, Connections 2020
Betty Knighton, National Issues Forums Institute president
