Faculty and college students from across the U.S. are invited to participate in the national week of cross-campus online deliberative forums organized by James Madison University.

The National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) will present a workshop as part of the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD) Summer Learning Springboard conference that will feature a week-long series of sessions and workshops beginning July 26, 2021. The workshop, titled Deliberative Practices that Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, will be presented from 2:00 to 3:30, ET on Monday, July 26, 2021.

The National Week of Conversation (June 14-20, 2021) marked the official national launch of the Elections: How Should We Encourage and Safeguard Voting? issue discussion guide. 

Please join us for a special webinar, "Convening and moderating forums on voting," on Thursday, June 17th from 1-2 p.m. ET. The National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI), one of the hosting partners for the National Week of Conversation, is presenting this webinar, along with a series of online forums (see the schedule below) to help people hold deliberative conversations about the important issue of voting.
