Charles T. Moses

Charles T. Moses is the Interim Dean of the University of San Francisco School of Management. He is the former Interim Dean of the Austin Peay State University College of Business Administration and Dean of the School of Business Administration at Clark Atlanta University, where he directed the University’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation program.

He is a Visiting Lecturer at the Mona School of Business and Management at the University of the West Indies, in Kingston, Jamaica, where he teaches MBA and doctoral level classes in strategy. In 2010-2011, he was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of the West Indies. He was also Director of the Advanced Management Program at Stillman College.

From 1994-2001, he was a consultant, based in South Africa and the Dean of Edupark, a business school affiliated with the University of Limpopo in Polokwane, South Africa. He was also a Managing Director of Labat Africa, a South African consultancy and holding company.

As a cabinet-level aide to former New York State Governor Mario M. Cuomo (1988-1992), Dr. Moses was the administrator of the State’s South Africa policy, which included the development of policies for the State’s investment portfolio and the development of the New York State/Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Trade Office in Johannesburg, South Africa. He was also a consultant to USAID in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

In 2001, he was named a Mandel Fellow at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management, from which he received a Doctorate in Management in 2004. His dissertation focused on the development of economic models facilitating entrepreneurial development.

From 2009-2011, he was a Kettering Foundation Public Scholar. He is also an alumnus of Leadership, NY, a program sponsored by the Coro Foundation.
