The National Week of Conversation is an initiative of dozens of national partnering organizations designed to engage people with different points of view in productive discussions of important public issues in ways they can replicate in their own communities. During the National Week of Conversation, we will host National Issues Forums that will bring people together from across the country to participate in deliberative discussions on Policing: What Should We Do to Ensure Fair Treatment and Keep Neighborhoods Safe for Everyone? and Elections: How Should We Encourage and Safeguard Voting? To encourage additional discussions around the country, we will also host a workshop focused on organizing and leading impactful deliberative discussions in communities, on campuses, and in classrooms.
The full array of National Issues Forums offerings will be the focus of a follow-up newsletter and posted on the NIF website in the near future.
