On March 6, 2018, Gregg Kaufman was a guest on the WJCT (public media) radio program First Coast Connect. On the program, Kaufman described the public deliberative forums work that he has been doing using National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) issue materials. He also described recent locally-produced discussion materials about Jacksonville, Florida's history.

Kaufman is a veteran convener and moderator of National Issues Forums, and has served on the National Issues Forums (NIF) board of directors.
