The issue guide Gender-Based Violence: What Steps Should The Church Take? presents three approaches for deliberation:

Approach #1: What do we need to learn?

Approach #2: What do we feel compelled to do as a congregation?

Approach #3: How might we advocate government and other officials?

Page seven in the issue guide includes a link to a brief post-forum online survey where forum participants can submit their responses as a way to help organizers accumulate information about public views and the impact of deliberation. Issue guide author Kaufman emphasizes that all faith communities and other groups and organizations are welcome to use the issue guide and to invite their forum participants to complete the online survey.
