The USA TODAY network and nonpartisan research organization Public Agenda are teaming up with the network of the National Issues Forums to explore the Hidden Common Ground in American public life. Through Public Agenda’s nationwide polling, USA TODAY’S detailed reporting and editorial coverage, NIF’s nonpartisan citizen issue guides, and the NIF network’s deliberative forums, the project will discover where we have common ground and where we’re divided and still have work to do.
