Albany, Dougherty, GA, was one of the first hotspots for the COVID-19 Pandemic outbreak in the USA in 2020. In 2022, the community is doing better. Yet, there is still a considerable portion of the population that is still COVID-19 vulnerable based on age, underlying health conditions, critical worker status, and a combination of these factors. With the approaching holiday season, how should Albany, Dougherty, GA, keep the community COVID-19 safe to minimize the incidence of cases resulting in serious illness or death?
Citizens in Albany, Dougherty, GA, the surrounding Southwest Georgia region, and beyond are invited to attend the upcoming civic engagement event below to deliberate about a plan of action.
