National Issues Forum on Safety and Justice led by Mette Kreutzmann and Sara Cohen of the Massachusetts Office of Public Collaboration (MPOC). This is a Boston Public Library National Day of Conversation program in conjunction with National Week of Conversation, a week-long event where Americans from all walks of life have conversations that prioritize listening first to understand those we tend to think of as “the other.” In conversations—and the relationships they build—is hope for mending the frayed fabric of America by bridging divides.
