Join this workshop for K-12 and college educators on how to moderate a Common Ground for Action (CGA) deliberative forum.

We will discuss how to set up a CGA, what the responsibilities of a CGA moderator are, and hacks and tricks for moderating for students in a classroom. We will then work in partners to set up and moderate a forum. We will conclude with a questions and answers about how to integrate CGA into your practice, classroom, and/or community work. Information about syllabi, assignments, and grading will also be discussed.

Part one of the workshop is: Wednesday August 15th @ 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern; Part two of the workshop is Thursday August 16th @ 9am PDT/12pm EST. Please plan to attend both sessions.

Both sessions will use join.me, a free screenshare and audio conference program. You will need a computer with internet access, speakers, and preferably a microphone (not required, but helpful).
