As of today, there have been more than 150 NIF forums on Safety and Justice throughout the country. This is hugely impressive—and it’s all due to you!
We want this work recognized for the immense value it creates for communities and democracy as a whole, which is why we’re taking it to Capitol Hill on May 9. Kettering Foundation and NIFI have planned a working meeting on the Safety & Justice forums so far and to build enthusiasm for future forums with Congressional staffers and other federal officials— but what we really want to show them is the size and power of the network: YOU.
That’s why NIFI will be streaming the DC event, A Public Voice, via Facebook Live— we want you all to see how we’re communicating the value of these forums, and we want you to help us tell the story. In addition to livestreaming, we’ll also be posing questions for viewers, which we’ll reveal the answers to live in the event itself. We also want YOUR questions and comments to share with the participants in the DC event.
You’re doing the work— help us show DC its value. Your participation via Facebook Live is crucial to the event’s success, and we know you’ll respond just as powerfully as you have already.
Join the Facebook Live event to receive reminders and to watch the event on May 9, and please share this with your networks via social media and your other communications.
No Facebook account is required to view the live stream.
