The Russell Forum for Civic Life in Georgia (RFCLG), along with many campus and community partners hosted a seven-part film and discussion this spring that focused on health disparities using the great documentary, Unnatural Causes, as the basis for the discussions.
Jan Levinson, my colleague at the Russell Library led the development of the program series that featured panelists with expertise or interest in the topics of each episode of the documentary as well as National Issues Forums (NIF)-trained moderators for each program. We had a wonderful level of attendance and participation throughout the series and have forged new relationships with campus and community partners working on these issues.
