National Issues Forums (NIF) Public Discussion and Comments

You are invited to start or continue discussions, or post comments, related to the National Issues Forums (NIF) and public deliberative forums. As a national network of nonpartisan, locally sponsored public forums for the consideration of public policy issues, NIF-related topics might include such things as: practicing and teaching about deliberation, moderating, recording, reporting, and issue framing; sharing problems and problem-solving; experiences from a forum participant's point of view; review and comments about materials and publications; convening forums; stories about the impact of forums and forum projects; and other deliberation-related topics. Creative ideas and essays exploring new ways of doing things are welcome also.

Topics, comments, links, and other materials posted here must be related to either the National Issues Forums (NIF) network or to public issue deliberation in some way. No unrelated, abusive, marketing, or anonymous (name and e-mail address is required) postings will be accepted. An overabundance of postings by one person may be limited. Please title each posting in a way that will give others a good idea of what the posting is about.
