Dolores Foley
Dolores Foley is an associate professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Hawai`i. She received her PhD from the School of Public Administration, University of Southern California in 1989. Her research and consulting areas focus on community planning, citizen participation, and governance of non-profit and community organizations. She teaches courses on community planning, social policy, and collaborative problem solving. She has published articles on organization change, collaboration, and social issues in the International Journal of Organization Theory and Behavior, the International Journal of Drug Policy, Action Learning: Research and Practice, and the Journal of Administrative Theory and Practice. Foley is the director of the Program on Conflict Resolution and the coordinator of the University of Hawai`i Public Policy Center's Community Programs.
